Matt Van Den Bosch - Managing Director

Matt grew up on a dairy farm in Tasmania, where irrigation and water supply were part of daily life. In 1993, his family relocated to New Zealand and built a successful irrigation design and installation business.

When his parents moved to Canterbury in 2005 to be closer to their core customers, Matt stayed in Northland and founded Kleenscreen Water Intake Filters, leveraging his extensive experience in water supply products.

Matt values family life, coaches his son’s hockey team, and serves on the school board.

Durability

Constant water exposure corrodes most materials quickly. By using stainless steel and durable thermoplastic bearings, Kleenscreen products are built to last, avoiding the corrosive pitfalls of mixed metals.

Speed to Market

We understand that downtime is costly. Our streamlined order process allows us to manufacture and deliver screens within a couple of weeks in New Zealand and about three weeks to Australia, beating lead times from other regions.

We're close to our customers, ready when you need.

Ease of Maintenance

Simplicity and reliability are key. Designed to minimize downtime, our screens are easy to maintain. Key parts can be accessed without tools and servicing and maintenance are dead-simple, whether it be screen replacement, bearing replacement or even mesh replacement.

Energy Efficiency

Efficient water flow is crucial. Our designs ensure that water delivery is both cost-effective and energy-efficient.

At Kleenscreen, we pride ourselves on our experience, integrity, and customer-centric approach. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, reliable products that meet your needs efficiently. We look forward to working with you and demonstrating our commitment to excellence.

Drawing on his engineering expertise and years of installing competitor products, Matt saw opportunities for significant improvements. This led to the development of Kleenscreen’s innovative features:
