EFFLUENT POND SCREENS
These self-cleaning intake screens will filter out particles likely to cause system blockages in modern, sprinkler-based effluent application systems.
FEATURES
-
Fine Screen Holes: Filters water to protect the pump and system, dramatically reducing nozzle blockages.
-
Less Maintenance: Prevents blockages, cutting down on the labor needed to maintain the system.
-
Durable Construction: Made from stainless steel and thermoplastic for long-lasting use.
-
Corrosion-Resistant Materials: Uses stainless steel and plastic to prevent corrosion.
-
Made in New Zealand: Designed for both local and international conditions.
DESCRIPTION
As dairy effluent systems advance to better use nutrients and protect the environment, they have become more economic in their application, often using smaller nozzles. These nozzles can easily clog, leading to poor performance and costly downtime.
The KSE Range solves this by preventing nozzle-blocking particles from entering the system, greatly reducing maintenance. It features internal backwashing jets that constantly clean the screen and clear debris from the surrounding area, ensuring smooth continuous operation.
Compared to Kleenscreen effluent pond intake screens, other solutions in the market are often either high-maintenance or costly to install.
KSE Effluent Pond Range
-
Optimal Placement: Best suited for installation in a second oxidation pond or on the opposite side of the inlet in a first pond.
-
Considerations: Not recommended for sumps with small volumes or areas with significant fibrous material.
-
Backwashing Pressure: Recommended pressure range for backwashing is 25-60
